January 2007

On December 30, 2006, the ministers and secretary's offices, that were relocated to the Roy Edwards Human Development Centre since the fire, were moved back to the Church.  Work on both offices are 90% complete, with only tiling left to be done.  With work set to start on the roof in a few of days, it is our hope that worship services can once again take place in the Sanctuary by the end of February, which marks the first anniversary of the fire.

June 2007

Worship resumed in the Sanctuary on the First Sunday of June 2007.  This was indeed a significant achievement and we must indeed give God thanks for allow us to reach thus far.  Thanks to all those who have contributed to the rebuilding effort.

December 2007

Let there be light and there was light.  Well this time around not the words of God, but a celebration of the fact that we once again have lighting in the church and as such, we were able to hold our Christmas Carol Service as well as our Watch Night Service.  Please note that the work on the walls, i.e. re-plastering them is now complete and the walls have been painted (primed).  Work is to commence on replacing the windows and doors by February, and should be completed within two - three months.  Work should also begin on the pulpit/platform area and baptismal pool
